This Keshi pearl, light amethyst, moonstone, and Oregon sunstone necklace-called a sautoir in French-continues a cherished tradition. Centuries ago sautoirs incorporated royal insignia into pageantry. Pearls were especially honored. Coco Chanel modernized the look, while flappers relaxed the style.  

"Pearls Among Friends" exploits a rhythm created by monochromatic colors and textural detail.  Grounding starts with the blush pink Keshi pearls and repeats for 56" along a strand of strategically placed gems to create a sense of soft undulation.  "Pearls Among Friends" ends with two handmade tassels of blush, button pearls, capped by the Studio's floral bead caps.
