By now you may have noticed that I have a penchant for jewels that open. Here we have another locket ring; this antique 15ct gold beauty is set with a banded black and white agate. The locket is hinged at the side and retains its original frame and glass. The exquisite hand engraving is feathery and extends to the bezel of the locket's top. It dates from the mid 19th Century.

I have been gathering special and rare jewels for several decades with the intention of eventually releasing them in Curated Collections. The first group I am making available includes extraordinary rings.
