A wonderful early Victorian gold mourning ring. The ring features a mysterious grey stone that I believe to be a type of quartz. The stone is set into an ornate solid gold band with floral detailing and decorative shoulders.
The ring is not hallmarked but tests as gold. It looks fabulous when worn and is one of those piece that has such a special feel to it.
There is some light discolouration to the setting underneath the central stone. The ring remains in good antique condition overall.
